We initially started this project about three years ago. Our goal was to get some folks to open their eyes about the energy situation. Because of other projects and demands, we sort of let things slide. When gas prices shot to $3 + per gallon, we started to write some other articles and got some better interest. Then we thought about social networking as a way to deliver information and grow a base, so here we are.
Our Mission: Ever want to change your perspective? There's one surefire way, it's called a "near death experience". Honest it really works, although we wouldn't recommend it to everyone. It makes you look at every aspect of your life differently. Our experience caused us to sit down, and re-evaluate the direction we were heading. We decided that what we want to do is educate from here on in. This is a tiny planet and our resources are dwindling rapidly.
The only bright star on our horizon are renewable resources. Unless we get a handle on how we use energy and change our energy priorities, we're all going to be very cold and very hungry. Here are some simple ideas we all can use to reduce our eco imprint.
